Disneyland
A little over a week ago Brady and I headed out for what seems to have become a traditional February trip to Southern California.
We burst through the gates as soon as it opened and rushed over to the big rides first. With little to no wait all day we hit almost every attraction in the whole park. The first half of the day was surprisingly sunny (we were expecting rain all day) so that was a major bonus.

Last year we had a great time camping on the beach and riding bikes with sunny weather the whole time. This time, not so much.
I was super excited to go because Brady and I were going to Disneyland together for the first time. He hadn't been there since he was little so I was going to be his tour guide.
We even got to spend an hour or so with Brady's sister and kids. It was fun to watch them experience the park.
Eventually the rain came and made up for the sunny morning we had. But with our parkas on we didn't let it slow us down and had a really great day.
The next day we hung out with friends and had camping reservations on the beach. The only problem was that it was pouring rain and the beach was flooded. Our site had about 3 inches of water, needless to say we didn't put up our tent.
Good thing I bought these rubber boots at Target the day before or else I wouldn't have been able to get out of the car, like Brady.
So it wasn't as fun as last time we went; or really fun at all. Luckily the weather cleared up enough the next day for us to enjoy Laguna Beach. It was a beautiful day.
We even flew a kite. Well Brady did, he didn't really want to share.
Hopefully our trip next time will have more of this less of rubber boots.
