Eastward

Before our cross country drive to Illinois we got to hang out with Talon in Rock Canyon.
It was such a beautiful day!
Then we drove for two days through Wyoming (which is as "beautiful in its own way":)  as Nevada) and then Nebraska (which was prettier than Wyoming *in my opinion* but it smelled worse). Iowa was next and then Illinois. It got prettier the further East we drove.  I actually liked Iowa. Brady was disappointed that Illinois wasn't more green but we hear winter just ended so it should soon get green and humid.
We made a lot of pit stops where we'd gas up and switch drivers. We're a pretty good tag team when it comes to road trips.
Maggie, our Magellan GPS unit (on sale at Costco) made the trip a lot easier. Though navigating I-80 wasn't hard, she did help us to know what state we were in, the name of the random towns we drove through, how far to the next gas station, and how many hours/miles we had left.

What a GR-8 graduation we were able to attend. We were sooooo proud of Ashlin. We are proud of Brady in his alarming (I just made that up) business. Glad you are feeling at home in Chicago....don't get too at home. Be sure to come back. Beautiful shots.

Hey, welcome to the blogging world. Your blog is great. I like the pics in Utah it make us miss the mountains. Good luck interpreting Jays comments. He needs to give you a decoder to figure out what he is saying.

I would like to make a toast to ashlin for starting a blog. May your blog bring you and us much happiness for evermore, amen.

I am so glad you made one of these! I loved reading about all the fun things you've been up to. I was drooling over the pictures of Stinson Beach. I want to go there now!

I can't wait to see and hear about all the fun things you'll be doing in Chicago. Will you find out when the "Taste of Chicago" is happening and go to it for me? I have always wanted to go.

by the way, we want to see pics of your apartment.
